2016 Vintage - It's harvest time at Mazza Wines.

Harvest is in full swing at the Mazza Vineyard. The Bastardo has already been picked - two weeks earlier than usual - just before the unheard of downpour at the end of January. We're expecting the main harvest to take place early in March and for the first time ever we've got everything under nets, trying to evade those pesky parrots and crows. Despite the stress of early February's blazing heat the grapes are looking fantastic so we are looking forward to some great wines from the 2016 vintage.
Mazza Wines specialises in growing Spanish and Portuguese grape varieties in the South West of Western Australia. Tempranillo, Touriga, Bastardo, Tinta Cao, Graciano, Sousao - many people have never tried any of these varietals before and are unsure where to start. So we say - why not try them all!
